Cherokee-145 and King-36446 appear to represent the same person because: These two are duplicated profiles. Please merge. The last name has to be determined before the merge. Her husband is also duplicated and his last name needs to be determined as well.

Nancy, I'm reviewing several "Native American Adjunct" profiles, including this one.

I'm afraid we need to remove the Cherokee designation in the NA sticker as there is insufficient evidence that she was a Cherokee. (I'm not even convinced she existed...)

For women, we use their maiden name as last name at birth, not their married name. In the case of Native Americans, if we do not know their maiden name, from this era we use their tribe name. I fixed the template.

Mmm. Unless there are records that clearly identify her surname as King. This might be a case where surnames started to come into use.

Nancy, on wikitree we use the tribe/nation name as last name at birth for the pre-surname era. Please change her LNAB (and any other Cherokee profiles associate with her).

Also please add "Native American Sticker|Tribe=Cherokee" in double curly brackets just under the Biography header . Thank you.
