Georgie King was born 18 July 1885 ^[1][2] in Hanson County, South Dakota, the youngest of five children of John King and Caroline Gannon. ^[3][4]In 1910, she lived with her parents and brothers, Vernell and Irven, in Fairview Township, Hanson, South Dakota. ^[2]

Three of Charlotte and James Blunt's daughters married in South Dakota to the sons of Caroline Gannon and John H King: Vernell "Vern" King married Lucy Blunt, Ernest King married Nellie Blunt, and Irven King married Julia Blunt, and their sister, Georgie King married Frank Boehmer. A 4th Blunt daughter, Lydia Louise, married Caroline's brother, Henry Philip Gannon.

Frank Boehmer, a resident of the Fulton community for 78 years, died after a short illness at the Mitchell Hospital Saturday 16 November 1963. ^[12]

Georgie Boehmer died in 1974 and was buried with her husband in Green Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, Hanson County, South Dakota. ^[3]
