Biography

Frank C. Boehmer, eldest son of Ernestine (Eilers) and Henry Boehmer, was born in Hanson County, South Dakota on 10 March 1885. ^[1]

The Boehmer family lived in Fairview Township, Hanson, South Dakota in 1900.^[2][3] Frank attended the rural schools in Fairview Township and Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. ^[4]

Georgie King and Frank Carl Boehmer married on 5 January 1910 in Hanson County, South Dakota. ^[5][4][1]

Frank was a member of the school board of Fairview Township and the Fulton Town Board for many years. He was the assistant manager of the Fulton Farmers Elevator for several years. He was a member of the Fulton Methodist church and the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges in Fulton. ^[4]

Frank Boehmer, a resident of the Fulton community for 78 years, died after a short illness at the Mitchell Hospital Saturday 16 November 1963; ^[12][4]burial in Green Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, Hanson County, South Dakota. ^[1]
