Biography

Early LIfe

Sereno was born about 1825-1828 in Nova Scotia, Canada.[1] He was the son of James King and Mary Gavel.

Family

In 1856 he married Ann.[2][3]

Death

Documents with his death details have not been found but the following entry was in his son William's family bible: "Death of Mar Cereno King," May the 29, 1886. Age 60 years old. Buried the first of June 1886. This was written by John King's wife Madeline."[1] Madeline was his sister in-law. He most likely died in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

  • Surname of wife - Annie is listed with various last names in documents of their children including Tinkham, White, and Hatfield. Sharon Bart is using DNA to attempt to determine her parents and correct surname).

King-41253 and King-28736 appear to represent the same person because: I just created a profile for Ceranou King (spelling taken from the 1871 census and his marriage record), without finding your earlier profile. I'm reasonably confident that the two profiles represent the same person.
