Biography

Minnie was born October 21, 1874. She is the daughter of Edwin Hubley and Mary Jane Mosher.

Minnie was 21 years old when she married Hugh Seymour Grant in 1896.

From records in Rebekah's Study Bible (Minnie's mother-in-law) she records that Hugh and Minnie moved to Lawrencetown, however, I am unsure which one as there are two in Nova Scotia. They were married by Rev M.W. Brown by Baptist Lisence.

The family moved at some point to the Truro area. Around the birth of their final child, her husband Hugh Seymour left, possibly for California where his brother was, but was never heard from again. I have done research on her husband and have located him a couple years later. Still researching his death.

On his sister Rebekah's obituary in the Halifax newspaper it is written that he predeceased her.

Minnie died at the age of 68 Y 2 M 3D and is buried in the Robie Street Cemetery in Truro, Nova Scotia.
