Biography

Lavinia was born in 1853 the daughter of Thomas Hollett (~1822 - ~1892) and Margaret (Rook) Hollett (1830 - 1877), and her birth was registered in the 2nd quarter 1853 in Milton, Kent. She was christened on the 29th May 1853 in Sittingbourne, Kent.^[1][2][3]

1861 Census on the 7th April 1861 Lavinia was living in Church Hill, Crayford, Kent with her parents Thomas and Margaret, and her sisters Margaret and Mary. Also living there was John Hollett aged 15 shown as Thomas' son but a source for his birth has not been found.^[4]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Lavinia a servant, was living in Wainscott, Frindsbury, Kent with her parents Thomas and Margaret, and her siblings Margaret, Mary, Thomas, Albert, Elizabeth and George.^[5]

Lavinia married Thomas Hatton Maxted (1855 - 1934) and the marriage was registered in the 3rd quarter 1874 in Milton, Kent.^[6]

1881 Census on the 3rd April 1881 Lavinia was living in Walthamstow, Essex with her husband Thomas and their children William and Ellen.^[7]

Lavinia died aged 35 and her death was registered in the 1st quarter 1888 in Milton, Kent.^[8][9]
