Biography

Hannah Ann Hewlett was born 10 December 1852 in Abaco, Bahamas to Townsend Hewlett and Sarah Ann Key Hewlett. She was listed as a child of Townsend Hewlett in the two wills of her uncles - Charles and Samuel Hewlett - who both passed away in the mid-1870s in New York.

She married Moses Key, son of Timothy Key and Fanny Russell Key, about 1870 in the Bahama Islands. The couple had children - among them Sarah Ellen Key, Martha Rose Key, Edward Evans Key, Townsend Hartley Key, John Leachman Key, and George Divine Key.

Hannah Ann Hewlett Key died 24 March 1925 in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas at 73 years of age.
