Avery Heisler's delayed birth registration states he was born Jun 5 1899 to Thomas Heisler and Eva Cross at Tancook Island. [1]
Thomas Heisler (55) is on the 1911 census with wife Eva (49) and their family; Collins (28), Morris (21), Florence (18), Avery (12), and Howard (8). I suspect the family before Thomas and Eva's is also a son; William Heisler (25) with wife Edith (25) and their young children Matilda (2) and Clarence (2 months). There is also Benjamin Heisler (62) and family as well as Ruben (36) with a large young family; likely a brother of Thomas and his son. [2]
