Biography
Mary Hisler (46) is a widow on the 1871 census with a large family; Benjamin (22), Elizabeth (16), Thomas (12), Alice (10), Martha (9), Rachel (5), Hannah (2) and also two widows Elizabeth Hisler (77) probably a mother in law and Hannah Morash (64). [1]
Thomas Heisler (55) is on the 1911 census with wife Eva (49) and their family; Collins (28), Morris (21), Florence (18), Avery (12), and Howard (8). I suspect the family before Thomas and Eva's is also a son; William Heisler (25) with wife Edith (25) and their young children Matilda (2) and Clarence (2 months). There is also Benjamin Heisler (62) and family as well as Ruben (36) with a large young family; likely a brother of Thomas and his son. [2]
Thomas Heisler, son of Joseph Heisler and Mary Baker died Jan 31 1937. No cause of death is listed as there was no Doctor in attendance, but he was 82 years of age at the time. His wife is listed as Eva Heisler and it is signed off by daughter Florence Wilson.[3]
