Angelo Gagliano is born around 1774 in Corleone, the son of Simone Gagliano and Anna Gebbia ("Gebia").
Maestro Angelo marries Francesca Mule', daughter of Domenico Mule' and Paola Lanza, on 7 September 1802. His parents have died by this time.[1] Francesca Paola dies at the reported age of 50 on 18 July 1837 in Corleone. Maestro Angelo survives her.[2]
Angelo and Francesca have at least seven children: Simone (c. 1803), Giuseppe (c. 1805), Salvatore (c. 1811), Anna (c. 1813), Biagia (c. 1815), Paol(o/a) (c. 1818), and Maria (c. 1824).
I estimate Giuseppe is 25 years old (b. 1805) when he marries for the second time.
Their other children's ages are based on their appearances in the 1834 stato delle anime. Simone, Giuseppe, and Salvatore are also known from marriage records.
Maestro Giuseppe marries at least twice, first to Felicia Ficara. He marries his second wife, Palma Di Liberto, on 24 June 1830.[3]
Maestro Simone marries Calogera Rigoglioso on 12 January 1834.[4]
In the 1834 census, Maestro Angelo, 60 (b. 1774), his wife Francesca, 51, and their unmarried children Salvatore, 23 (b. 1811), Anna, 21 (b. 1813), Biagia, 19 (b. 1815), Paol(o/a), 16 (b. 1818), and Maria, 10 (b. 1824), live on the Strada di San Leoluca in Corleone.[5]
Salvatore (not yet a maestro) marries Leoluchina lo Bosco on 16 September 1861. His parents have both died by this time.[6]
