Biography
Simone Gagliano is a Corleone native resident, the son of Maestro Angelo Gagliano and Francesca Mule', who married in 1802. Simone is named after his paternal grandfather.
Maestro Simone marries Calogera Rigoglioso ("Rigugliuso"), daughter of Maestro Cosimo Rigoglioso and Leoluchina Morello, on 12 January 1834.[1]
In 1834, Simone Gagliano, 23 (b. 1811), and his wife Calogera, 22 (b. 1812), live in the San Nicolo' quarter. Calogera's brother, Ciro, lives nearby.[2]
Simone has died by 1841, when Calogera remmaries.[3]
