Biography

Ann was born in 1738, the daughter of John Foxton and likely his wife, Ann Hill. There is a marriage record for Jno (John) Foxton and Ann Hill in Kirkdale 8 Jan 1737, the year before Ann was born. Ann married George Wood and their youngest child was Jonadab Wood, born 3 Feb 1783. The couple appear to have had many children but it also could have been a late marriage for Ann, closer to 1770, than 1760, as observed by the birthdates for their children. A marriage record for Ann and George and death record for Ann need to be located.
