Biography
Thankful Denison, born 20 May 1780 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the fourth child of Eunice Williams & Isaac Denison.
She married 4 Aug 1798 at Stonington, Connecticut, Amos Clift (his second wife). They had 8 children:
- Esther Clift (15 Nov 1800 - 19 Nov 1809)
- Margety Clift (4 Jul 1802 - 17 Jan 1804)
- Amos Clift, b. 7 Aug 1805; married Charity Morgan; d. 18 Aug 1878
- John G. Clift, b. 2 May 1807; married Lydia A. Gillson; d. 18 Feb 1875
- Waterman Clift, b. 17 Sep 1809; married Esther H. Hazard
