Biography
Martha Sarah Cyrus was born on June 11, 1825 in Grainger, Tennessee, United States, daughter of John William Cyrus (~1803–~1850) and Nancy Elizabeth Williams (~1799–~1860).
Martha married John Willis Allison (born on March 1, 1824 in Bedford, Tennessee).
In the 1860 census Martha (age 35) was in Osage Township, Camden, Missouri, United States.[1] John Alison 36, Martha Alison 35, Frances E Alison 13, James A Alison 4, John W Alison 2, Rebecca E Alison 2, Joseph H Richardson 16.
In the 1870 census Martha (age 45) was in McDonald, Missouri, United States.[2] John Allison 46 years, Martha Allison 45 years, James Allison 14 years, John Allison 12 years, Rebecca Allison 12 years, Benjamin Allison 9 years, Sarah Allison 7 years.
In the 1880 census Martha (age 53), Keeping House, was the wife of John Allison in Justice Precinct 6, Erath, Texas, United States.[3] John Allison 56 years, wife Martha Allison 53 years, son Bengamine Allison 19 years, daughter Sarah C. Allison 17 years.
Martha died on April 10, 1900 in Erath, Texas, United States, aged 74. She was buried in Hightower Cemetery, Morgan Mill, Texas.[4]
