Kathleen, I have been hoping to find another Williams with ties to Tennessee and Kentucky. My paternal grandfather and grandmother shared a common last name, Williams. I have grandma's family bible for that branch of the family, but grandpa's history is much more difficult to decipher. His father was born in Georgetown Illinois and the trail pretty much ends there. The only lead I have is that great grandpa's father was of Irish/Cherokee decent from Kentucky, and I am not sure how accurate that is. He married Ann Fields (Anne, Annie) from Indiana. I have been looking, in vain so far, for information on James Lincoln Williams, my great grandfather. So far as I have been able to find, the trail ends there.
Williams-42708 and Williams-67593 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Kathleen ... if you accept this merge that will merge yourself with "yourself" on my WikiTree.
