Mary A Blom was the daughter of Bernard Blom (1861–1917) and Ida Slight (1863–1949), born on 9 Apr 1886 in Ackley, Hardin County, Iowa. She grew up in Etna and Ackley.[1][2][3]
Mary married Earl Randolph McCullough (1881-1961) on 28 Mar 1906 in Hardin County, Iowa. They lived in Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa, where Earl worked for the railroad as a signal maintainer. They had nine children there, three of whom did not survive to adulthood. In 1941, the McCullough family moved to Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]
