Biography

Nathaniel Barnardiston was the 5th surviving son of Thomas Barnardiston, 2nd Baronet of Ketton, and Elizabeth King. He was born between 1676 and 1681. He probably resided primarily at the family estate in Ketton (Kedington) in Suffolk and was unmarried at the time of his death.

In his will dated 19 Feb 1700, Nathaniel left twenty pounds to his brother Robert Barnardiston, Baronet of Ketton, and the rest of his estate to be equally divide between his brothers Samuel and John Barnardiston. ^[1]

According to The English Baronetage, Nathaniel died in the East Indies.^[2] The probate date of his will was 30 Sept 1702, so he probably passed away in 1702.
