Biography

Anna was born about 1902 in Maryland, the youngest child of Isaac Abramson and Fannie Hoffenberg. Her father Isaac died in 1909 when Anna was age 7. Her brothers Jack and Rubin were sent away to the Hebrew Children's Shelter for a time and the older siblings, Benjamin and Gertrude went to work to help support the family. ^{[1] [2]}

She was married 3 times. First, she married Charles Isaacs about 1926 and they had one daughter, but they were divorced before 1930.^[3]

She lived most of her life with her mother and her brother Jack who never married.^[4] Her later marriages to (unknown) Davis (about 1945-64) and (unknown) Friedenberg^[5] (about 1975) have not been traced.

Anna passed away in 1982 and is buried in Rosedale Cemetery next to her brother Jack.^[5]
