Joyce, is Swazey-114 of this profile the same person as Swayze-555 (newly created from Swezey-49 for a new LNAB). Should they be merged ? Both married to Elizabeth Younge, sometimes spelled Youngs, same name.

Swezey-49 and Swazey-114 are not ready to be merged because: The death dates and second wife and son David appear to make these two different men. If his first wife died in 1780, he can not have remarried in 1739.

I just sorted it out! His second wife is incorrect. She was Margaret Parshall who married first Jacob Howell and became Margaret Howell. So she was Margaret Howell when she married Richard Swayze on 10 Aug 1739, soon after the death of his first wife, Elizabeth Parshall (they were sisters?). She did not marry Stephen Swayze. So I will remove her as his wife. Then the merge of the two Stephens could go ahead, I think . . .

Also, it was Richard Swazey that died on 26 December 1782, not Stephen Swayze -- that whole profile of what is now Swayze-555 was originally crossed with Richard Swazey's info on the gedcom import.

Richard also had a son named David with Elizabeth Parshall. So I have moved that son to Richard's profile.
