Mary Betts married only Joseph Swasey. She was named as Mary Swazy in her father, Richard Betts' will proved November 26, 1713. She is shown in The annals of Newtown, in Queens County, New York... by Riker, James, published 1852: [https://archive.org/details/annalsofnewtowni00rike/page/374/mode/1up Page 374 as the daughter of Richard and wife of Joseph Sweze. She is also shown in this source as Richard's daughter, and Joseph Swazey's spouse: The early Germans of New Jersey : their history, churches, and genealogies. by Chambers, Theodore Frelinghuysen, published 1895, https://archive.org/details/earlygermansofne00cham/page/519/mode/1up page 519

Considering Joseph didn't die until around 1717, she cannot have married both men.

I have no idea why John Swasey is shown as a husband to Mary Betts in this profile. It was not in the Gedcom I originally uploaded. I am going to remove him.

She is my 8th great grandmother.

No proof of marriage to John Swayze. Joseph died in 1717.

Unknown-37072 and Betts-68 appear to represent the same person because: Children on both profiles are being merged into one, indicates Betts is the LNAB.

The Newtown, NY marriage location seems highly unlikely to me. Is there proof for this? The Swazey family came down from Salem, MA to the North Fork of L.I./Suffolk Co, NY. This is at least 80 miles from Newtown, Queens Co., NY
