An LDS record below shows Mary born in Aquebogue, Suffolk County, NY perhaps where her father was born. The record also shows the marriage to David Edwards occurring about 1706 in Suffolk County, NY as well as a child Margaret Edwards born in 1709.
On May 24, 1706 William Coleman and a "Mary Swayze Coleman" sold a piece of land in Southold to Joshua Wells in exchange for a cow and a calf. Likely not the same Mary as this profile.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
According to the Salmond Records, pg 257, 1718 Dec 9th, Wm Colman & Bethia Swesey were married. Bethia died 12 Jan 1723/24, pg 24. William remarried, pg 79, Sep 24 1724 Wm Colman & Mary Brown. William's second wife, Mary died Oct 9, 1725. Pg 17. pg 81, 1727 Apr 17th, Wm Colman married Rechil Youngs. There doesn't seem to be a record of Wm Colman Jr marrying, Bethia's sister.. Nor can I find a record of Mary marrying David Edwards.
Mary's data does seem to be conflated with others of the same or similar names. I agree that her supposed marriage to Coleman is particularly suspicious. This remains a work in progress; the Swayze/Sweezey line is full of inconsistencies so it may be some time before it's untangled. For now, it's probably best to mark the marriage to Coleman as " unconfirmed".
Swazey-55 and Swayze-244 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicate. I would suggest the text on Swayze-244 is far more accurate and should be kept with the new merged profile. Swazey-55 is an old virtually unsourced profile I adopted. Thanks!
Swazey-75 and Swayze-244 appear to represent the same person because: Complete match other than spelling of family name. Father was SWAYZE. Minor differences in siblings but otherwise an exact match in important data. Biographical and Source data appears more complete in profile of Swazey-244.
NOT Long Island City. I know that computer programs are probably popping this up when one enters "Long Island." BUT Long Island City didn't exist then and now when it does, it's a good three hour drive in a modern car away from Aquabog where the Swazeys lived.
