I found an obituary written in German, that I would appreciated getting it translated. I wish I had a good grasp of German to do it myself, unfortunately I just know a little.  Thank you in advance for help!!   The obituary is posted to her profile page.  Carrie

Here it is:

Frau Anna Louise Bich, geb. Psalm.

Missoula, Montana Eingereicht von Frau Heinrich Blum

Mrs. Anna Louise Bich, born Ulrich, was born on 28 Jun 1874 in Alt-Arzis, Bessarabia, as daughter of the couple Christian and Louise Ulrich. She was there devoted to God in the holy baptism and after getting religious classes confirmed. In the year 1900 she stepped into the holy marriage with Michael Sommerfeld. This marriage was blessed with six children, of whom three died in early childhood. In 1904 she came with her husband and her children to America, and the family settled her home near Fredonia, North Dakota. In 1908 her husband was snatched away from her through death. A year later she married again, and that with Johann Bich, with whom she lived in happy marriage, until also he was snatched away from her through death in 1944. From that time she lived in the home of her daughter, Ms. Mathilde Bich. She several times told the wish to only be ill for three days, and this wish was fulfilled. On 13 Oct she had a heart attack and on 16 Oct at 10pm she was allowed to go home. She died at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 19 days. Mourning her death are seven children, three of them of the first marriage, Edward Sommerfeld, Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Adolf Schneider and Johann Sommerfeld, Missoula, Montana, of the second marriage Mrs. Ida Beckel and Mrs. Maria Rigel, Kellog, Idaho, Mrs. Konrad Schwab and Ms. Mathilda Bich, Missoula, Montana, two stepsons, Tobias and Michael Bich, Missoula, Montana, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Juliana Gehring and Mrs. Sophia Morle, Bismarck, North Dakota, Eva Bich in California, 31 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Heinrich Blum, Takimo, Washington (?) and Mrs. Mathilde Bader, Missoula, Montana, five brothers, Christian Ulrich in Germany, Friedrich Ulrich in Missoula, Montana, Reinhold and Gottfried Ulrich in Lodi, California, and Martin Ulrich in Richardton, North Dakota. Her last statement was the hymn: „Fort, fort, mein Herz zum Himmel, fort fort, der Heimat zu!“ May God give all a happy reunion in the Light. Because the German congregation in Missoula doesn’t have a pastor, the celebration of life was led by the pastor of the English congregation. As text served Psalm 23.

Mrs. Anna Louise Bich (nee Ulrich), daughter of  Christian and Louise Bich, was born on June 28, 1874, in Alt-Arzis, Bessarabien. She was baptized at birth and was later confirmed in the Church after receiving religious instruction. She entered into holy matrimony with Michael Sommerfeld. This marriage was blessed with six children, three of whom died in early childhood. In 1904 she came with her husband and her children to America, and the family settled a homestead near Fredonia, North Dakota. In 1908 her husband died. One year later, in 1909, she remarried one Johann Bich, with whom she lived contentedly, until his death in 1944. After his death she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Mathilde Bich. She often expressed the wish (not to suffer a lingering illness)  but only to be ill three days (prior to death). Her wish was granted: on 13 Oct she had a heart attack and on 16 Oct at 10pm she returned to her heavenly home.

Her departure was mourned by seven children, three from her first marriage, Edward Sommerfeld, Takoma, Wash., Mrs. Adolf Schneider and Johann Sommerfeld, Missoula, Montana; two from her second marriage, Mrs. Ida Beckel and Mrs. Maria Rigel of Kellog, Idaho, and Mrs. Konrad Schwab and Mrs. Mathilda Bich of Missoula, Montana; two stepsons, Tobias and Tobias and Michael Bich of Missoula, Montana; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Juliana Gehring and Mrs. Sophia Morle of Bismarck, North Dakota, Eva Bich in California; 31 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Heinrich Blum of Takimo, Washington (?) and Mrs. Mathilde Bader of Missoula, Montana; five brothers, Christian Ulrich in Germany, Friedrich Ulrich in Missoula, Montana, Reinhold and Gottfried Ulrich in Lodi, California, and Martin Ulrich in Richardton, North Dakota. Her last words were from the hymn : “Fort, fort, mein Herz zum Himmel, fort fort, zu Himmel zu!“ (Go quickly, o my heart,  toHeaven). Because the German congregation in Missoula doesn’t have a pastor, the celebration of life was led by the pastor of the English congregation, who used the 23rd Psalm in his eulogy.

Fort, fort mein Herz zu Himmel, fort, fort, zu Himmel zu

in diesem Weltgetuemmelt, is fuer dich keine Ruh'

Go quickly, O my heart, to Heaven, quickly now to heaven

There is no peace for you in the tumult of this world

GOD has prepared a place for his little lamb to graze

Go quickly (little lamb) to Heaven, where you shall find Peace
