We lost Little Feat guitarist Paul Barrere back in October. "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" is his original composition but he is best remembered for "Skin It Back."
His father was actor Gabriel Paul Barrere, stage name Paul Bryar, who had bit parts in lots of famous movies. The Barrere name apparently comes from the Pyrenees.
He is now connected through someone with the unlikely name of Zeddie True Seal.
