Mary “Polly” (Babcock) McElroy is the daughter of Ichabod Babcock Jr.  and Sarah Garlick Pike . She was born in Alburgh, Grand Isle, Vermont April 2, 1804 and died April 12, 1872 in Alburg, Grand Isle, Vermont. We need help in finding more sources such as census reports, birth/death records, marriage records, etc. We have her find a grave link and possible children on the FAG link. She married James McElroy (see source Babcock Genealogy). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you wikitree family

FAG Link

Vermont Vital Records, 1760-1954, (death record) believed to be hers. Shows mother as a Polly which could be the nickname of her mother or grandmother?

Nicknamed after her Grandmother on maternal side possibly?

Husband James McElroy possibly of Irish decent

I believe this is her in 1850 census; however not 100% but residence location listed in kingsbury, Washington, New YorK, USA.

Also believed to be her 1870 Census listed as a domestic servant at the age of 66. Residence location is listed as Alburgh, Grand Isle, Vermont.

Also another record for death; here she is shown as dying from consumption and as a widow
