How can Rice-369 and Rice-370 be deleted?

I adopted these profiles back in 2014. They were downloaded, but the file has been deleted.  All I know is they lived in Illinois, in 1910.

Both of those profiles exist, although there isn't much of anything there.  I'm not sure what file you're referring to that has been deleted.  The profiles themselves can't be deleted, but they could be merged, or merged away into another profile, or researched further and used to document the lives of real people.  You must have had a reason for adopting them, or some intent to research them further, didn't you?

These 2 individuals appear on the 1910 US census as mother and daughter. However, they have virtually no other data listed for them.

If I managed these profiles, I would disconnect Rice-370 as spouse and reconnect her as daughter. I would not merge them away without having conducted a thorough search for potentially matching individuals.

For now, of course, the net is quite wide; Rice-369 could just as easily be a teenage mother (circa 1895) as a (dare I say super?) centenarian mother (circa 1780??).

Should be a stimulating challenge, possibly worthy of its own -thon!!yes

edit: corrected gender (see italicized words - mother) of Rice-369 - both listed as female on census
