Advice before editing this pre-1700 Porter profile?

This was originally a profile with dates all in the 1700s when I adopted it and started adding sources. It then became obvious that the birth date was actually in the late 1600s so I changed it which sparked off action re pre-1700 projects.

Should I abandon this or continue with adding the sources I have including the name and sources of his spouse Hannah Cooke?

Hi John and thanks for helping to build our WikiTree and for adopting orphaned profiles.

Since you are pre-1700 certified, the profile is not project protected and you've got some primary sources to add to a thinly sourced profile, you should go ahead and add the sources and flesh out the biography as possible.
