Looking for Mary Porter, Derby c. 1730

I am trying to find the birth and parents of Mary Porter [[Porter-26031|Mary (Porter) Biker (abt.1730-bef.1766)]] who I believe was born in or near Derby, around 1730.

I have evidence for her marriage and when she died she left a detailed will distributing her estate (her husband had been a goldsmith and she had no children) among many relatives, in particular [[Sibley-1177|Anna Maria (Sibley) Rivett (1730-1807)]]

From the will it is clear Mary was linked not just to the Sibley/Rivett family but to Gretton and Porter.  In my research I have been able to add several references from parish register and other sources to families in the Derby area and the most likely link between these families would suggest Mary was a daughter of [[Gretton-68|Jane (Gretton) Porter (bef.1694-)]] and [[Porter-26165|Thomas Porter (abt.1690-)]] but I have not been able to find a baptismal record.  There are several Porter families in Derby, with several Mary Porters born around 1730 but not one which quite matches.

Looking for any suggestions.

I would ask two questions:
1) Shropshire is mentioned several times in Mary's profile. Have you considered that as an alternative birth county?
2) Is there any significance attached to the witnesses at her wedding, namely Dan Thomas and J. Goodmun? Neither appears on any of the other marriages on the page, so probably are connected in some way to the bride or groom.

Thank you.  I think the only link to Shropshire is that her cousin Mary Gretton married Robert Parkinson of Shropshire, who Mary (Porter) Biker then named as one of the trustees of her will.

The names Thomas and Goodmun have not appeared elsewhere in my research of Mary or her husband.
