Are there any sources for Mary Sayers (Grayson) Porter (1797 - 1841)?

I would like to have more sources that show that the Mary Sayers who married Samuel Porter was the same Mary Sayers who was the daughter of  William S. Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Wagoner.

Here is the only primary source I have been able to find:

  • "Virginia Marriages, 1785-1940," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XR8C-XZC : 11 February 2018), Samuel Porter and Mary Grayson, 23 Feb 1819; citing Fauquier, Virginia, reference r4 p18; FHL microfilm 31,634.

So far the main thing we have is a snippet from some past research done by Meredith DeBuse:

"Marriage record explaining that Mary S. Grayson was the ward of of Samuel Porter, Sr. That Samuel Sr. gave permission for his son Samuel, Jr. to marry her. This record indicates that her parents William Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Waggoner Porter had died when she was still a young child. It provides the proof that Mary was a ward of Samuel Porter Sr. as family lore had said."

  • FHL Microfilm, MIcrofilmed copy of the original records, copied by Meredith DeBuse 25 yrs. ago. Number lost.
One secondary source I found lists Mary Grayson the daughter of William S. Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Wagoner as passing away in 1804 at age 6.
One other bit of information is I think that her son had spelled her name as Grason.

According to: Ancestors and descendants of George William and Roberta Grayson Sanders of Virginia by Sanders and Alvey:

William Grayson b. 1766, d. 1808 married

1st Octavia Edmonds

Child:

1.        Francis Edmonds Grayson

2nd Mary Eliza Wagoner

Children:

1.       Peter Grayson

2.       Sarah Grayson m. Dr. M.B. Melvin

3.       Fred William Spence Grayson

4.       George Washington Grayson

5.       John Thomas Grayson

6.       Edward Grayson

Mary is not listed as a child of William and Mary. But also, books have been incorrect before.
