I can find copies of the earlier Visitations, but not the last one.

WorldCat shows it is present in numerous US libraries; I would expect it to be widely available in Canada and the UK as well.

FamilySearch does not have it digitized.
A few  UK public libraries have it, almost certainly reference only .There are also some Univ. Libraries  but these can be hard to access unless you are a member  ( or you have a sconul card i.e you are a member of another university)

If you think you may use it often it would be more cost effective to buy a copy You can get it second hand for about £10.
I'll bet they won't send it out
Have a look on Abe books .There are several sellers starting at £10.  Most booksellers will send overseas  It looks like a fairly thin volume so not too heavy
Amazon has it listed.

The only version that appears from searching is one published by the Harleian Society in 1986, and that is too recent to be available online for free.

You may get a snippet view via Google Books but I can't see anything else.

Hmm.  There's this

https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Visitation_of_Nottingham.html?id=bfoenQAACAAJ

which says 22 pages, and "short notes".

Then there's this

https://www.parishchest.com/the_visitation_of_nottinghamshire_derbyshire_1662-1664__P12663

which appears to show a 3-volume set, scanned onto a CD.

And this list

http://www.heraldry-online.org.uk/HarleianPublications2.htm

which appears to show that Squibb turned the materials into 3 volumes - 5, 6 and 8.

But we don't know what materials he had.  Probably not the official reports at the college.

Ha.  I rummaged in my ganderbag and I have the CD.

Vol 5 is 122 pages not 22, which solves that mystery.  It's a normal Visitation book.  No long pedigrees though.

What can I help you with?
I'd like to know if they have pedigrees for Hacker of Flintham and Hacker of Trowell, as the ToC suggests.

Yep.  I've copied them here

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Some_Nottinghamshire_pedigrees

but they only go back to John Hacker d. 1620.

Many thanks.  That's right about the point things get tangly. I don't think anyone has traced the Hackers reliably back past John
But of course now I find the Somerset branch right here on WT.

Like I need another Project
Hello,

I wonder if you still have access to the information contained in the Visitation of Nottinghamshire 1662-1664 Ed. by Squibb for the Harleian Society? I am interested in the pedigrees it contains for the Whalley or Whaley family or any families derived from it living in Screveton or Kirton, Notts.

Thank you.
Yes, I have the print edition. I believe the listing you want is Whalley of Kirton.

Do you want any particular persons?
Hello Lois,

Thanks for your rapid response.

Yes, that’s the one, though if there are other Whal(l)ey pedigrees in that volume, they might be of interest too as I am trying to figure out just how this name became a given name in some other possibly related local families including Dodge and Key.

Thanks so much,

Upton
There is also Whalley of Cotgrave

Yes, thanks, I asked about other pedigrees under that name because I had read a list of the pedigrees likely to be included in that Visitation in the version of the 1569/1614 Visitations of Notts. edited by G. M. Marshall, published in 1871.

I thought a look at both might pedigrees might yield a link.
Many thanks for this pedigree of the Kirton lot, Lois.

Thank you for this one too, Lois. It didn’t solve my puzzle, but it offers new scope for research.
