Which wife had which husband or did he have two?

Here's a conumdrum

WT addys

Robert Widdowson (Widdowson-287), Wife Mary Bamford (Bamford-434).  Wedding source confirmed see Robert profile

Robert Widdowson (Widdowson-2667), Wife Mary Sandy (Sandy-684). Wedding source confirmed see Robert profile

The two Roberts at this stage are one and the same on WT but havent been merged as they could end up being seperate persons

BUT

There are two children, Robert and Francis, who could belong to either mother.

It all depends on Mary Bamfords death date which we cant find.

If Mary Bamford died before Robert the first son was born then their mother is possibly Mary Sandy

If Mary Bamford didnt die then Robert and Francis (both males) as the first born sons match the convention of Robert the father for Robert and Francis for Marys father and could be Mary Bamfords kids

This would make Mary Sandys Robert a different Robert to Mary Bamfords Robert and therefore two distict families

FS has both kids to both mothers but the same father

There may also be an earlier Elizabeth to Mary Bamford who died very young (https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=XAUTO%2FFHS%2FNOTTINGHAMSHIRE%2FBAP%2F00061643)

I came across this death document of Mary Widdowson over at Ancestry.com  I believe it's for Mary Bamford as I think I saw one in her name. I'll go back and see if I can find it. No death certificates for Mary Sandy that I've found
