DESCENDANTS OF MICHAEL MURPHY & BRIDGET MURPHY (CARROLL)

Question

Trying to find information on my great aunt and uncle (MICHAEL & BRIDGET MURPHY) family members, I know they had a daughter who married into the IRISH family as their granddaughter EDELE IRISH is written on their headstone in TEMPLEOGUE CEMETERY DUBLIN. I know Bridget was born in March 1911 & died on 30 November 1982 aged 71, her husband Michael was born in 1911 & died on 5 October 1960 aged 48. Their granddaughter Edel Irish was born in 1979 & died on 22 April 2012 aged 33.

That is all the information I can find, so I'd be extremely grateful for any help & new info anyone may find. Thanks

I am assuming they are both from Ireland.  Michael Murphy 1911-1960, wife Bridget Carroll 1911-1982.  Her parents John Carroll and Elizabeth.  Bridget and Michael having a daughter (private) who married and had 8 children, which one was Edel Irish 1980-2012.  I will keep looking for the children's names and will get back to you if I have more info.

I don't know who the parents of Edel Irish is, i only that she is a granddaughter of Michael Murphy & his wife Bridget Carroll Murphy as it's stated on their headstone.. Thankyou also for your help

Hi, I know you made this post a long time ago. But to answer your question about the parents of Edel Irish, her mother is called Phil Irish. She's 70 years old and lives in the heart of Dublin City Centre (although she lived in Clondalkin for years).

I'm her niece, like Edel also a granddaughter of Michael and Bridget. My father Seán is their eldest son.
