Transcription of son's name

Question

I found the birth of a son by the same parents as should be the parents of Cathrina Gunnarsdotter, at the bottom right in this book.

I can't make out the name of the son. There seems to be an i in it. Anyone else?

But in an earlier question about Catharina's own birth record, Eva E transcribed the name of the father as Gunnar Danielsson, so perhaps the son's name is Daniel, as it looks similar to the father's patronymic.
