Merge problem: how to view pre-merge changes for the "other" profile

How do I view what was in the two profiles before a merge? Because someone has deleted everything except the word, "Rootsweb," in the course of the merge, whereas there had been sources and a biography. Because the later number contained the sources and bio, I cannot see the changes in the profile, or don't know where to look.

I really hope I don't need to dig up all the sources all over again. Thanks!

Can you tell us what the profile ID is that got merged please, that way maybe we can help figure out what was there. Thanks

To see the content of the merged-a-way profile:

from changes tab of final profile, click on the profile ID on the activity line of the merge, this will open the old profile where you can now click on "edited the data" on the activity line of the merge, and you will then see the content of the old profile and copy/paste any data you need to retrieve.

Try looking on the 'Changes' tab at the top
