IMP NOTE: 'View/Edit Badges' page allows escape without saving changes.

Question

After I make a change to badges (the order of display, or which ones to be hidden), how long should it take for my change to become effective?  Moments? Hours? Days?

Oh.  Ha, ha.

I understand now.  UNLIKE WT's other edit-able pages -- which require a personal okay if a user tries to leave the page without saving their changes -- the View/Edit Badges page does not provide that protection.

I'm glad to know that.  I will upgrade this question to an IMP NOTE, on the grounds that inconsistency does not adhere to the Principle of Least Surprise.
