Joseph Gould, b. 1833; help please

Joseph was one of the youngest in this household of twelve.  He migrated with his parents William and Sophia Gould from Nova Scotia to New Hampshire.

I've found a Joseph Gould who served NH in the Civil War.  A census record for 1860 shows a Joseph Gould working as a shoemaker in Ohio.  A voter's record shows a Joseph Gould, b. in New Hampshire, registering to vote in California.

Can someone please help, perhaps with a death record or a will?  Ancestry shows a Joseph Gould getting married in Massachusetts; again, I don't know which one was the son of William and Sophia.

Thank you; yes, it's his sister!  She is listed twice in the 1850 census; once at her home with her parents, and once at the home of William and Charlotte Garnet.  Sadly, Ellen died shortly afterwards while visiting her brother James Gould in Vermont, according to a newspaper story.

Joseph seems to be a mystery.

Thanks for the help.
Alrighty. Did you research all the other siblings as well? I can't find any data on any of them.
