his father -> Edward Francis Gould 1852. -> wife Mary Phillips D.O.B. 1865 Oklahoma

his father -> either 1) Samuel L or  

                                           ? Wife Mary born in VA

                                2)  LEMUEL L

his father -> Aaron Gould D.O.B. circa. 1806 wife - Lucinda Allbee (not sure of spelling)

Unless I've made a big mistake somewhere, it seems that Samuel L was Samuel Lawrence Gould, and his parents were Thomas Gould (a contractor and builder in Boston for many years) and Lydia (Peirce) Gould, great-granddaughter of Captain Solomon Peirce, who fought in the Revolution.  I got that from this book: Solomon Peirce family genealogy; containing a record of his descendants, also an Appendix containing the ancestry of Solomon Peirce and his wife Amity Fessenden by Bailey, Marietta (Peirce) 1841-
