Looking for Joan Pennisi [closed]

Question

Joan Pennisi was her married name in 2007. Location unknown but probably New England, New York, Maryland - around that area.

I think Joan Pennisi's birth name was Joan E Tyrell. She was born in 1937.

I'm asking if anyone can possibly find her marriage - whether it was a first marriage or a second one, I don't know - to someone named Pennisi after the 1940 census.

Joan ws listed as a Cousin to Richard and Karen Carpenter (which she is) on the 2007 TV documentary about the Carpenters called "Only Yesterday".  - which I have just watched on Youtube.

Joan Tyrell Pennisi is listed as an alumni of the Wilbur Cross High School, New Haven, CT  class of 1954.  One of their web pages lists her location as Rio RIco, AZ, but I can't tell when that page was updated.  You might try to write a letter to her and ask them to forward it?

I actually have no idea if this is the correct person, related to the Carpenter's that you were looking for!  However, if you use the google search suggestion, some of those results indicate she frequently went by the name Jane E or Joan E Will as well.  Happy Hunting!

There are also mentions of court and criminal records on some of those public records as well. I can't afford to dig any deeper. This is enough for now.

After doing some more searching, I found her husband - Anthony Joseph Pennisi - also in Rio Rico, AZ in 2007 - born in 1934.

Marriage record clearly not available yet.

No worries, I got enough for now. I just wanted to confirm that Joan Pennisi, identified as a cousin on the Carpenter documentary, WAS also Joan Tyrell.

Just wanted to add a correction..Her maiden name is spelled: Tyrrell. Also, she has never used the name “Jane”.

1st marriage: James Scouten (sp?)

2nd marriage: Henry Wilczynski, a.k.a. Henry Will

I used to know a family named SCHOUTEN with Dutch ancestry when I was a child, and they spelled their name with an H as I have done.

I just now found out that Joan passed on 17 January 2022. She was born on 28 July 1936. She is interred in the Carpenter crypt. Her name was:      Joan E Tyrrell Pennisi.
