I’d like to suggest changing current practice of placing DNA confirmations under "Sources"

and instead use subheading "DNA" under "Sources"

This places the DNA confirmations under "Sources, " but separates them and makes them easier to locate.  This would also give DNA confirmations a hyperlink from the public view

An example would be [[Boone-3346]]

I thought this was already the preferred method!

I may have added the heading on my own since I had already begun using subheadings under the Sources heading (example: Staton-104).

I support your idea, Robin!!

I post the DNA Citation above the <references /> Tag and under the sources title. Which is a no-no I am sure. But I do it for visibility. Sounds like a good thing to bring up.

Mags, I had done it the way I was instructed (putting the statement under a heading "DNA Confirmation" as the very last thing on the profile) until I saw an example Peter Roberts posted in answer to a recent question about how to do it.  I *LOVE* what he does - when he mentions the person's name in the bio, he adds a footnote, using the DNA confirmation statement as the citation.

EDITED TO ADD:
I just looked quickly, but can't find the question I referenced.  I did use that idea on a profile, though - you can see it on THIS ONE.

I think the question here Gaile is how do we make the DNA citation "Pop". Playing around with things different ways to try and do that and coming up with suggestions to pose for a guidelines/Style change would be good.
