A friend came to visit this weekend and at some point she asked "so, what do you know about Ancestry.com?" If you're a WikiTreer, you probably know where that led: Two solid hours of me asking what she knew and then seeing what we could find on FamilySearch.org, Ancestry.com and Google. The result was the profiles for Hyman and Julia (Shirpser) Wollenberg. Even though I stayed up way past my bedtime to do it, this activated a whole bunch of those discovery hormones for me and I felt energized by the whole experience. She appreciated the work we got done, too, and also the concept of "Cousin Bait" which I believe she's likely to take back and find out even more, which I promised to document here whenever she has digital information.
