Need help with Polish genealogy please

Question

I am working on a friend’s ancestors and they all originated in Poland or Galicia while my friend and I are in Ontario, Canada. For starters, her dad immigrated to Canada. We have a copy of her paternal grandfather’s death certificate which indicates that Stanislaw Grochot was born 3 May 1894 to Karol Grochot & Apolnia Kilek in Wolowiec, Volnik, Krakow, Poland. They were Roman Catholic. Does anyone know how to access records from Wolowiec?

So:

- there are spelling errors in the document

- Stanisław Grochot died in Jaworze Górne [https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaworze_Górne]

- what You thought is "Wolowiec" in reality is "wdowiec" = widower ("stan cywilny" means "marital status")

- "volnik" is "rolnik" = farmer ("zawód" means "occupation")

- he was born in Kraków ("miejsce urodzenia" = "place of birth")

edit: mother's name is "Apolonia", not "Apolnia"

I’m no expert but I have ancestors also from this region and my gg grandfather has some sources and g2g that might help in finding sources for you. If you like can visit Andrew Seckla (1872 - 1957)
