My great great grandpa Andrew Seckla was born in Poland however we don’t  know what town and we have no info on his parents. He married Mary Novak.  We need resources for marriage records birth records and profile updating with proper categories. We need help pointing us in the right direction going into eastern Europe/Poland. Any help is appreciated. Thank you wikitree family. Kind regards.

Andrew likely Polish name  Andrzej , 1874 ,1875 at war with Russia.

Likely he was Jewish or Roman Catholic.1920 Census has him born Galacia,Poland. Europe a very difficult too research, Look for a site that has

Roman Catholic are Synagogue church records. You may have too pay for any records.
Well this would explain the Jewish root which I’m less than <1% and the family stories lol

I added the Polish spelling of his name. Wonderful!
We Have his death record date of birth and need help with searching polish records for town of birth and parental lineage.

In addition to the 1920 Census tying Andrew Seckla to Galicia, the only Seckla currently identified as coming through Ellis Island (Joseph Seckla, 16 Jan 1913) listed his residence as Narol, Galicia.  Doesn't confirm anything, but might narrow your search.
