I'm trying to find the death for Anna Maria Brind born in Muswellbrook NSW Australia in 1974. Her father was Enos Brind and Mother is Mary.
Her birth index is 15257/1974
Her brother William Brind was born same day straight after his birth index is 15258 indicating the two were twins.
William died the same year 6459/1974 on the index
But there is no trace of what happened to Anna Maria Brind

Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Cyrus Hulbert, of Upper Colo, and his little children, in the sore bereavement that has befallen them. Mrs. Hulbert passed away onthe 24th ultimo, after a lingering illness.

Her maiden name was Hannah Maria Brind, a native of Muswellbrook, where she married Mr. Cyrus Hulbert 14 years ago. He is left with three children, two girls and a boy, the eldest 13 and the youngest 7 years of age.

The late Mrs. Hulbert had been a patient in Windsor hospital some little time ago, but died at her home. The funeral was largely attended by the sorrowing relatives and friends, the remains being interred in the cemetery at Upper Colo. Rev. H. Tate conducted the service, and Mr. Price was the undertaker.

Hannah/Anna, the name that gets mixed up and confused quite frequently. I can't believe I missed this. I definitely need to work on my sources too because the level demonstrated here is amazing while my sourcing dulls in comparison. I think im going to read up on how to properly source and use citation for the rest of my work.

Hi John,

I'd drafted up a response to tell you perhaps she is still alive, but then visited the profile and see you meant 1874!

I had a look in Trove, NSW BDM (marriages) and on the Ryerson Index and could not find a trace, sorry.

Good luck in your search

Sorry about that, typo. It was meant to be 1874. With no trace to be found I believe she may have died in 1874 along with her brother. It just seems odd that his death would be registered and not hers. I wonder if since they were twins they could have registered both deaths under the brother. Failing that the records could have been lost/misplaced or she may have survived and married and died in a different state. Will have to investigate further in the hope I turn something up other wise I have profile with no death or sources :(.
