how do you correct or remove incorrect information about yourself

Hi,

You can join the site if you wish to update information and add more. If you want to have your information removed, please use the "Privacy Take-Down Request" link on your profile via the link at the bottom of the profile and the Team can help you out.

If you are the Profile Manager or on the Trusted list for the profile, you just click the Tab across the top of the profile that says EDIT.  Then on the Edit page you can make changes and SAVE.

If someone else entered your information, on your profile page, left hand side, next to Profile Manager - click on the  ( send private message) so that you can email the person with the corrected information.  If you're a member of WikiTree, you should ask them to be at least added to the Trusted list of your own profile.

If you are a member and talking about your own personal profile...

You can use the "Edit" tab then follow the prompts.  Click to save changes when done.
