I created a free-space page to document the 4 families consisting of 21 individuals who arrived in Louisiana in 1764 after the deportations of 1755. Where were they living in the intervening years? https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:The_First_Acadian_Arrivals_in_Louisiana_Territory

The biggest group of Acadians arrived in 1785 after being in England and France for all those years. All these Acadian immigrants (or those lucky few who married one) numbering about 3,000 individuals have been researched and documented and their names are on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana. [[Category: The Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial]]. We have less than 400 of these names identified with the Wall of Names Category. If you have an Acadian ancestor who was born in Acadia or while in exile and who then emigrated to Louisiana, they would be happy to have the Wall of Names Category on their profile along with {{Louisiana Family}} and {{Acadian}}.
