Are there any Neville researchers to help with a project

I have recently set up a one-name study here relating to the surname Neville and variants and deviants

https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Neville_Name_Study&public=1

There is also a one name study at one-name.org. I am now ready to start collecting date - Neville is an interesting surname since is origins are said to be in France from the town of Neuville. There were noble Nevilles and also-rans. Many of the noble lines expired and connections have not, it appears, been easy to make.

This is a moderately common surname - large than most on-name studies so I am looking for volunteers to assist. This is a project at its early stages.

I am still undecided in how and where I will record the data - WikiTree itself is probably an obvious choice since there is already a lot of data in place.

In addition to volunteers I just need people who are researching the Neville name to join the project for which I  have provided the link above. If you are a Neville and have had a DNA test that would be of immense value.

Hi Michael and welcome to WikiTree.

I noticed that there are about 1400 Neville profiles here and at least 10 are marked as Active.

If you have not had any response to your query I suggest you go to the Surname list and select the profiles with Active members. You can then try sending private messages to several of them.
