It's possible Hugh de Neville-1444 had by his wife Joan, an under-documented daughter Joan Neville, who later married Reynold (Reginald) de Cobham. We model these connections now in WikiTree database, but disclaim our own given sources on the profiles.
Does anybody have sources proving this line? Or disproving?
Please see the various comments I left today on this profile, one of which is pasted below here by the "Move to G2G" button on the commenting UI. Apologies for the broken formatting, that's WikiTree-o-matic not me:

What primary source evidences the claim his wife was the daughter of Hugh [[Neville-1444]]? That profile buries her in the bio footnotes, in essence; distancing WikiTree prose from the WikiTree database connection we've already made but can't validate. It says Cobham's wife Joan is unsourced. Ultimately it relies on this site: http://www.geneajourney.com/neville.html which, IMHO, ought ''never'' be a source for WikiTree genealogy, rather only a pointer to actual sources. Because it's just a website, made by some guy, no offense to that guy, whoever he is. The actual sources provided at the bottom of that page are: #CP: Vol IV[118] Vol IX[487-495]; #AR: Line 247[25-27]; #GL: English Origins of New England Families, Series 1, Volume 3, The Origin of Nevill of Raby, by G. Andrews Moriarty, pp 145-150, from an article appearing in NEHGR, republished by Genealogical Publishing Co.; #Tim Powys-Lybbe. However, because that geneajourney.com Neville page has no in-line, claim-specific citations linking assertions to evidence, it is (again) just a pointer to possible sources; not itself a source. I suggest we remove it, and disconnect the Neville "B" line unless it can be proven as historical fact via the above sources or other persuasive peer-review-able evidence. Here are Tim Powys-Lybbe's pages for this family group: *http://powys.org/pl_tree/wc20/wc20_029.html *http://powys.org/pl_tree/wc27/wc27_007.html No sources either. Last time I chatted with Tim, he expressed dissatisfaction with some of the early medieval lines on his site. Absent sources I feel we shouldn't credit powys.org as an authoritative source, much as I admire Tim himself and ''would prefer'' to defer to him on his lineal ancestors.... WikiTree shouldn't. Right? Anybody have access to the other sources above, to check?
