Trying to find out information about my biological grandfather

Question

All I have are initials for my biological grandfather, which is: E. C. Whitehead. He did not actually have a name, just initials. I have been told he was adopted but by family. I know he passed away in 1986, but do not know his D.O.B. I do know that he loves around either San Antonio, Texas or Austin, Texas. I also remember that he was married to a lady named Civil and had two other children, Danny and Wanda. Tbis is all I have been able to find out, can someone help?

I found a lot of people named E. C. Whitehead who lived in Texas on THIS PAGE at familysearch.org.  One link is to THIS PAGE at Find a Grave, which has the following information, along with a photo of the headstone:

Looks as if all my lists got zapped on the other thread!

Since other have covered the two childen here is the child of Wnda and her husband Mike Allen Fletcher
