Hullo, all,
In _The Descendants of Sir Robert Crosse_, pp. 29-30, there is a John Crosse, (Crosse-103) who is the son of Sir Robert. It states that he married (1st) Anne Unknown, and had eight children, traveling between Massachusetts Bay Colony and Ipswich, Suffolk, England: Robert, William, Sara, Margaret, Richard, and Anne. his first wife died after 1638, when Anne was born. John then married (2d) Mary, [bp London ca. 1618, d. 11/13/1669.] She had a daughter Mary, 1641 in Boston. I don't have true access to the book so I don't feel comfortable adding any info, especially to a profile someone else manages. I am noodling around this branch of the family, however, and would love to see it get a bit of attention from some of the more experienced researchers. This was a bunch who came over from Ipswich, Suffolk, England to the Ipswich-Rowley-Newbury area of Massachusetts. Hammonds, Jewetts, etc are among their number. Thanks!
