Hi,

I have John Cross(e), aka Crosse-103 married to Anne Sherman (Sherman-745).  They had Hannah Cross (Cross-201, who married Thos. Hammond).  I also have children of John Crosse as: William, Sara, Margaret, Richard and Mary.  All the children except for Hannah were born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.  Hannah was born in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts and Mary born in London, England (parents were back and forth to England from Massachusetts).  The source is a book Mother May I?

Anderson's Great Migration lists John Cross b. c 1584 m. Anne ______ has a daughter Hannah who married Thos. Hammond. But he doesn't list any of those other children or a surname for Anne. So I think you're okay adding the daughter.

The book "Mother May I" who is it by, when was it written. Googling Mother May I doesn't come up with the correct hit on the first page

Whoops, I didn't list the source, I didn't finish the sentence, and then the next sentence was Mother May I?  It's not a book, it's me being in too much of a hurry.

The source is: Genealogy of the Descendants of John White of Wenham and Lancaster, Massachusetts : 1638-1900 : in two volumes, pp 337-339.  I can upload the media if that facility exists.  There is also a selection from Memoirs of the Cross Family, p 104, and Descendants of Sir Robert Cross, pp 29-30.
Your first two sources (Descendants and Memoirs) are not informative about the name of John Cross's wife or additional children.

The descendants of Robert Cross. ??? It's so inconsistent with the Immigrant on the "Elizabeth" John. That john died 1640. John the immigrant died 1651. I think maybe he's got two different John Crosses confuses. And there is no mention of a wife Anne Sherman in this one either
Got you, thank you for helping me suss this out and to be more critical in the examination of these not-primary sources.
At least you got your Hannah (Cross) Hammond attached where she belongs
Lol, I just Need. To. Slow. Down!
