I have Thomas Franklin's deed from 1795 Philadelphia. Kin to Ben?

Deed was from "Thomas Franklin, Merchant to Thomas Steward, of the District of Southwark, Carpenter."  The legal description is "all that lot or piece of ground situate on the East side of Fourth Street between Shippen (?) and Plumb Streets, being thirty feet fron on Fourth STreet Bounded Westwards of and Southward by other grounds of the said Thomas Franklin." (the best I can read it, anyway).  Was this Ben Franklin Family land?  I guess everyone is looking for some connection the Founder, and I am no exception.  "Walter Franklin" was one of the witnesses.

Ben was born in Boston, but moved to Philadelphia as a young man where he started his printing business and career.  However, your deed signers are not likely kin.  Ben had two sons.  One, William, became royal governor of New Jersey, sided with the British and ended up in England.  He had a son, also William.  Ben's other son died at age four.
